a drive problem

    I bought this used computor and my friend came over and checked it our for me and told me there was two a: drives reg to my machine so he deleted one but it must of been the orig because now i have no A drive and it wont let me back into start up. was running windows 98 i tried to reinstall 98 but it wont let me any suggestions?

    Its a little hard without more information.
    Are you still able to boot up win98 or have
    you started the installation? Why are you trying
    to reinstall?
    When your friend removed one of the a drives
    did you mean he removed it from device manager?
    My experience, floppy drives pretty much are true
    pnp, that is you install them and they work.
