I'm using windows 98 SE and have blue screened with
"A Fatal Exception has occured at 0028:C0031C6C .

do these numbers tell what the problem is? and does
anybody have any ideas to keep it from happening.
After restarting.... I'm back up but this happens from
    time to time.

    Hi boing
    - does this happen at start-up, while just using, after launching an application, on shutdown?

I was just at this site http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/fatlexer.htm yesterday - has some pretty good info about FEE's.

This is Microsoft's page on them http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q150314

However, I seem to recall that this particular error may be related to DirectX - have you updated this recently?
(important to keep all of your software up-to-date ... Windows and all apps)

    cheers
    MDM
