1. My Windows Media Player gives the following error when it is attempted to be opened: An internal application error has occured. (Windows would not validate, might be why)
2. My control panel gives me this error several times while I'm working around with it: An error occured while Windows was working with the Control Panel file C:\WINDOWS\System32\igfxcpl.cpl (Might have been from a scan that deleted it)
3. Mozilla Firefox refuses to display the browser. I've tried reinstalling and uninstalling and restarting and going into safe mode. The Task Manager (under processes) says that it's there and taking up resources. I have no idea what's going on with this.

Other Information that might help: I recently had conflicting OS, and took the other one out and most things went back to normal. There might be backlash or files that got copied over that are messing with it. (I did take important files off the old hardrive before taking it out.)

Ad-Aware and Spyware doctor are used often. McAfee Virus scanning is "screwed" so to say.

Internet Explorer opens ONCE everytime I restart, then fails to open every time, taking on the characteristics of firefox and just going to the process section of the task manager.

And just in case: Hijackthis logfile
