I am trying to help someone view a file received via forwarded e-mail. Quick View Plus only identifies it as a Base64 Encoded file and says click here to view but when I click it shows only ASCII coding. I have tried to decipher the e-mail as HTML and MIM without luck. It is one of those that has been forwarded through several different e-mail systems and ISPs. Anyone have a clue about Base64 Encoded files?

Maybe this is dumb, but I understand Winzip can decode a lot of stuff.

Been there done that. If I open with WinZip I can get to the text of the e-mail ok but the attached file (the base64 encoded file) is identified only as Unknown. Appreciate the comeback though.
