I've been having a problem saving certain desktop settings.

I modify my settings from time to time just to look at something new every now and then. For the past month or so, however, I have not been able to save the font type and size on my desktop beyond my current session (i.e. the settings revert to a previous configuration after the next reboot).

I usually change the settings by clicking anywhere on the desktop -> properties -> appearance -> item -> choice of active title bar, icon, etc. to change its properties.

I've done this in the past and the settings have always remained unchanged (reboot after reboot) until I decided to change them again.

What's the deal?

Hi Ernie,

I assume that after making any alterations that you click Apply and OK ?

Thanks for the reply - 1069.

Yeah, I do always hit apply and OK. Like I said, it's worked in the past, but not recently. I don't think I've changed any other system/folder settings in the past month that might cause the foul ups.

Thanks.:)
