I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this question, so please bear with me. I use Yahoo as my homepage using Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, or IE. I've always used it and it's been fine, until I recently found out that the extent of the information they get from you. If you go to Yahoo and go to the 'View' menu and then down to 'Privacy Report' it tells you what information they get and what they do with it. This shocked me and my question for anyone out there is: "Is there a homepage that is safe?" I like to see the news headlines and be able to find out what movies are on in my area, and the weather. That's about it. But I don't want it collecting data on me. This whole thing is getting very scary.
If there isn't, what can I do to minimize the problem? Thanks in advance.

i personally am not too worried about the privacy policy on yahoo. but my homepage is set to google and nothing has happend to me... but if you are paranoid you can go into hompage settings and select use blank and then there will be no homepage just a blank screen.

hope this helps!
