So recently I got my audio enabled for my windows server inside of the bios, I've started using software called 'virtual sound card / vas' which is a bit like 'virtual audio cables / vac'.

When ever I go to play .wav files or import them into my sound playout software the server just seems to freeze and reboot which I've put down to the automatic restart setting for system failures.

It only seems to happen when big loads of audio is getting processed..
    The error codes are below:

    C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2fdf.dir00\Mini012511-03.dmp
    C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2fdf.dir00\sysdata.xml

    BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : 80000003 BCP2 : BA80E3B8 BCP3 : F78AA350
    BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_2_3790 SP : 2_0 Product : 272_3

    0x0000008e (0x80000003, 0xba8953b8, 0xb8a1d350, 0x00000000)

mp3's are fine as far as I know it as I've been using them in media player.

    I'm currently running windows server 2003 32bit, 2 GBs RAM, an Intel Pentium 4 - 3.06 GHz.

    All help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Why are you running a server OS and trying to do desktop stuff? Is this software even compatible with Server 2003?

Its what came with the windows server and its because the server can be left on 24/7 365 days a year to act as a main output for a radio stream.

I'm not really up turning my pc into a radio server, leaving it on 24/7, wasting all my internet.

The software is yes, its free to use and he originally designed it for his server to which it is now ran on multipule servers using 2003 and 2008 r2, more to the point though its not the software, its something to do with a windows driver as far as I know, just been scouting around quickly again.
