Hi, Friends!! It's IBwebin here, with another STUPID question!
Can a floppy disk be erased and reused? If so, how?

Yes it can be reused. Go to my computer then floppy drive. Open by right clicking then exploring the floppy. Delete everything on it. If it wont let you the tab on the floppy might be in the lock mode. Slide it to the other side.

Hope this helped

Hi IBwebin,
Just to add to what Crylynx has said. Do not save things to a floppy. Save to the hard drive then copy to a floppy. My teens have done this and because floppy's are flaky they have lost homework and have had to redo it.

Thanks, Guys! I went into the "My computer" in my XP, and found that it offers an option to Reformat (erase) Floppys! So I wiped about 30 of them while I was at it.....

Thanks Again!!!
