    Hello,
I'm having a very strange problem which I am not been able to solve on my own :(

My connection speed is 512 kbps.
When working normally i get a good 60KB/s speed.
So here is my problem. Whenever i download something, torrent or non torrent, i get good speed for 20 -30 minutes and after some time it gets reduced to 8-10 KB/s. Even browsing some page take takes ages.
To solve this, i just reset my modem and it starts to work just fine(60KB/s) and again after some time the speed is decreased to 8-10KB/s.

Please anyone help me with this problem.

we do not support torrent enquires see rules on home page, however if your internet speed is going up and down whils surfing then that is an issue we can look at, torrents are swarmed so other pc s in the swarm go on and off hence the speed changes

    go to http://www.speedtest.net/

    then ping test

    http://www.pingtest.net/

it will say how good your connection is

use http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html see whats eating your bandwith and stop stuff connecting to web you do not need

    Ok, not talking about torrents.

I am using DU meter to monitor my speed. Normally when browsing pages or downloading something, my speed goes up to 62KB/s at most. but after the connection is active for some time (about 15 - 20 mins)
I notice that my max download speed is capped at about 12KB/s. and when browsing pages DU meter dont show speed above 8-9KB/s.

And about Currports, I have attached an html report.
The last four 'unknown' processes seems suspicious to me. I tries closing them but they come again after a second.

no it is wired and it is not connected to anything besides my pc.

Look at my current currport report i have attached.
The last 'unknown' process' Remote host name "bom01s01-in-f100.1e100.net" is looking super suspicious to me.

I am currently scanning my pc with Malwarebytes to see if there are any malwares on my pc.

    Ok I'll rephrase my problem:
My internet connect half-dies after about 15 minute of usage.
Only reseting my modem bring it back to its full potential.

No, programs eating my bandwidth is not the problem.
DU meter show the total bandwidth used by my pc.
So normally when downloading or browsing it show about 62KB/s bandwidth and when the speed crash occurs my download speed is reduced to like 12-13KB/s and DU meter show usage of about 15KB/s.
If the problem was other programs eating bandwidth then DU meter would have shown speed higher than 15KB/s.

And on a different approach to solving my problem, is there any program which automatically resets my modem after a definite time period?

Ok so i got a batch file which resets my modem and i schedule tasked it to run after every 30 minutes so i can download overnight uninterrupted :)

But still, any solid fix for my problem??
I formatted my pc and the problem still persists !!!!!!!!!!
So something is wrong with the modem or ISP itself..........
