Please help, I have tried so far, Ad-aware 6, Spybot, CWShredder, and have installed and used Spyware Blaster to try to get rid of about:blank and saap.exe and saaphook.dll. Did try to use Add/Remove to get rid of WebRebates, but it looks like it is still there. Also had zkdgf.exe listed as threat, but Norton couldn't remove it. This is my son's computer and I've been working on it for two days trying to keep from having to use the recover disk and it is working faster, but still has problems. Also did Windows Update today. I have looked all through your threads to find all these suggestions, but need your help further, if possible. :)

Ad-aware 6 is not updated any longer. Uninstall that and get AdAware SE Personal: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

Install the program and launch it.

On the bottom right-hand corner of the main window click on Check for updates now then click Connect and download the latest reference files.

In the main window: Click Start and under Select a scan Mode tick Perform full system scan.

Deselect Search for negligible risk entries.

To start the scan, click the Next button.

When the scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose select all from the drop down menu and then click Next)

    Reboot and post another log.
