About The Upcoming "Version 2004 Build 19041.208" Update

May 30, 2020
If you haven't gotten the update please don't. It installed on my computer May 29th, ended up with a dozen icons on the desktop page that can't be opened, moved or deleted ......., tried an OS recovery and the only thing it did was remove all my apps which had to be reinstalled.

I used the Windows 10 Update Assistant tool to update Version 1909 Build 18363 to Version 2004 Build 19041 in my minitower computers.
This process was faster than using the built-in Windows Update app.
After I was done, I needed to re-do several personalization and registry settings.
I also needed to re-update the drivers to the primary devices (graphics, audio, ethernet) which had reverted back to older versions.
I have 5 minitower computers, so this was time-consuming and took me 2 days to complete.
On a positive note, all of them are working fine and all third-party installed apps are working fine.

This is what I woke up to this morning. The "pause updates for 7 days" I assume was by Micro$oft because I didn't have it set that way.
