I've built a Crosstab Query in Access that actually works (y)
But, I need to be prompted for a date range. When I enter field =Date, Total= Where, Crosstab=none, and criteria = Between [Enter Begin Date] And [Enter End Date], I get the message "The Microsoft Jet Database engine does not recognize [xx] as a valid field name or expression. I have also used the same field as a row header.

When I enter the actual dates in the query grid it works. Why can't I be prompted for the perameters?. Under help, and "Create a Perameter Query" it gives a similar example (Between [Type the beginning date:] And [Type the ending date:]) and says that it is valid for either a select or a crosstab query.

Any idea why it's not working?
