I recently cloned a new hard drive for my laptop. When I installed the new one Windows would not start becasue it said tat hal.dll was missing. I corrected this with editing the boot.ini, but know I get an error saying that C_437.nls is missing or corrupted. I did a search on this site and point this posting:

It was a HUGE help, but now I get this error in th Recovery Console.

    Access is denied.

When I start the recovery console it asks me for the administrator's password, but I just press enter because I don't believe there is one. I'm the only who uses the computer and I don't use passwords. Am I typing something wrong?
