I have two XP Pro computers which are both connected to the same router. On one computer, I created a "shared" folder and enabled file sharing and SFS. I can put files in that shared folder and I am able to read them on the other computer. However, when I try to put files or create folders into the shared folder from the other computer, I get the message "access is denied". Both computers are admins both have enough free space to transfer files. Can anyone help me with this problem?

On the PC with the shared folder, did you put a check mark by Allow network users to change my files?

It is right below where you put the check by Share this folder on the network

 I had done the same thing when I set mine to share the first time. Sometimes its the simple things that we overlook that get us. :D
