I am trying to create a database that will have rtf and html reports posted to the web that need to have hyperlinks to pdf documents. The pdf documents are named the primary key and what I am trying to do is have the hyperlink automatically populate using [primarykey].pdf#C:\Files_for_Web\Notices\[agencyid].pdf##[agencyid].pdf]
in an exit event. HELP! Thanks-

Pinkskull, I am not clear on what you are trying to do here. Are you working in Access 2007?
The normal way to open a Hyperlinked Document is to either use a Hyperlink Type Field and double Click on it or use "FollowHyperlink" in VBA Code.
I am also not sure how this fits in with "a database that will have rtf and html reports posted to the web that need to have hyperlinks to pdf documents". Is this to be used from the Web or from within Access?
