How do I connect two routers using "Access Point Mode?" I'm technologically illiterate and have spent HOURS trying to get answers from TPLink without success. I followed their instructions and have connected my existing Linksys router with the Archer 7 using an ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on the Linksys to the Internet port on the Archer 7. Shouldn't one of the routers be connected to the modem? If so, which router and which ports do I use? The Internet port on the Archer 7 is already occupied!

I assume that you mean you want to use a secondary router as an access point. You do it the way you described assuming you can set the secondary (Archer 7 in the above) to "access mode." If the secondary router does not have that mode (many, probably most, do not) I can post the method.

Yes, if you want the router and the devices connected to it to have internet access.

If so, which router and which ports do I use?
You would connect the WAN (Internet) port of the router you want to use as a router (Linksys in the above).
