I have a Access Query that I'm running that askes for a Dept. Number and if left blank displays all Dept. now the problem with that is I had to use a "Like" command and when I hit 1 all Depts with the Number 1 come up. Is there any way to make it so this doesn't happen?

    Thanks a Million

Probably better off making it 2 separate queries.

One with LIKE and one without.

Or make a "Query by Form", which allows you to run a query through a form.

Search the web for query by form; MS comes up almost right away and tells you how to do it.
