    Hello,

Basically my laptop screen is cracked, so I want to be able to access the BIOS on an external monitor. However, the display doesn't switch to the external monitor until Windows loads, so the BIOS loads on the laptop screen, which I can't see.

I was just wondering if there was something that I could do or someone who has the same laptop as me who could guide me through what to do with my keyboard when I'm in the BIOS.

    I'm running a Samsung R519 laptop :)

    Thanks

When in Windows check in Display to make sure only one screen is enabled. If two disable laptop screen if possible. Also try setting your screen resolution low like 800 x 600.
