accessing the internet

    Installed wireless network modem for two laptops. Good signal but could only connect to one computer though both have D-Link Airplus. Suspected location but that did not work.

    Do you have a router?

    What are the IP addresses on each laptop when they are connected?

    Assuming you are using Windows, you can get that info by opening a Command Prompt and running "ipconfig /all" from the command line.

    Can you post the results of that command here?

    Also until you get it working, you may turn off any security on the router. Just to make sure isn't causing the problem .
