A few days ago I was going to put in a new HDD and I accidentally tore the HDD connector in two pieces trying to get it out... Is it possible to put it back together?

The laptop is really old (but works surprisingly well with Xubuntu) so if I can't repair the connector, I might as well throw it away because the lowest price I've found for a new connector is $70, which is just too much to spend on such an old laptop.

The laptop is Toshiba Tecra 550CDT.

The connector broke about where the black line is drawn.

I seriously doubt it. I can't even think of how to start a repair on a film connector like that.
