Acer 5742Z Not recognising any devices

    My Acer does not recognise any devices connected vis a USB Port or the SD Card slot.
    Device Manager shows all Multi Function as follows;

    The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

    There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.


    To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

    It won't recognise my camera, Tom Tom or Xxternal hard Drive.

    Looks like the drivers are corrupted or not installed properly.

    All of the drivers should be available from the Acer website. > http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers

    You will want the chipset driver and the card reader driver.

    Do the following in that Acer Aspire 5742Z laptop:

    Download and save the TSG System Information Utility (SysInfo.exe) to the desktop.

    After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.

    Information about your computer will appear.

    Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE text here.
