Acer Aspire 5515 Wifi issue

So i flip the slider to turn on wifi and it says "NO WIRELESS DEVISE" but it should be built in...can anybody help?

I started your own thread for you here, as that post is not going to be of any help in the thread to which you posted.

If the wireless card is easily accessible through a small cover on the laptop bottom look to see if one is there and make sure it is secure.

According to the support site for the Acer Aspire 5515, it has an Atheros or Foxconn or Ralink wireless device.

It has driver support for Windows XP 32-bit (including the webcam) and Windows Vista 32-bit/64-bit (excluding the webcam).

Which Windows version and bit version is running in that laptop?

Go into the Device Manager, then expand the Network Adapters heading.

What's the exact names of the devices listed there?

Hello there, try and maybe give this a shot?..
Control Panel --> Network and Internet --> Network and Sharing Center --> Change Adapter Settings (On left hand side of page) --> On that page, right click on your Antheros Wireless Network Connection, and enable it if it's not already. If it is, try disabling/re-enabling it.
