Acer Aspire M5100 Desktop will not boot up

    My Aspire M5100 Desktop computer will not start or boot up properly. The blue indicator is on to show that I have started it up. But, my monitor keeps displaying: ''No video input''. I can hear that the drive is not booting properly as it used to. This started about a month ago, but at times it did display and boot properly. Now it does nothing at all. I cannot get my recovery discs to work either as the drive does not seem to function properly.Can anyone help me, and also is it possible anyone has a service manual for this model? I've Googled it but seem to only get a user manual and a service manual for the laptop. But I need one for this desktop.

    I'd start with the power supply first, partial failures are very common with Acer's. Do you have access to another power supply that you can try?

    Acer doesn't provide service manual's.
