Solved Acer Erecovery management software installation

    Hi my laptop is an Acer Aspire 4830T and everytime I restart my laptop it will show Software Installation installing office 2010 your software is being installed please connect the power cable and do not turn off your computer then I always have to do Alt+Home and then exit it everytime I restart my laptop is there anyway this can stop happening

    Do you have Office 2010 installed? If so have you tried uninstalling it?

    You can also goto start menu
    Type msconfig
    This will show you a list of programs that startup and you can disable the office option

    i dont have office 2010 the process keeps getting stuck at office 2010

    1. You have the thread marked solved.
    2. Your title mentions Acer eRecovery but your post is about Office 2010.
    3. Why are you on msconfig?
    4. What happens if you let "Software Installation installing office 2010 your software is being installed" finish instead of aborting it and hoping it will disappear?
