    Hello
I'm new to this, but hope you can help me (and hope me being danish doesn't bring too many problems with the understanding of my description of the problem)

My son has a Acer Extensa 5220 laptop. Today I installed Win XP on it, because it was playing up, and I don't know much about Vista.
    (mums don't know much, right?)

Several hours later I'm almost running away screaming!
Everything seems to be okay except for 2-3 things:

Mass storage controller - can't install the driver
Sound unit High definition Audio Bus - can't install the driver.

I found all the drivers at Acer, but can't install these.

When I start the pc there is an errror: missing mom.implementation ... something.
I have read somewhere that this will go away, when the drivers are installed.
I hope to find some help here.
If you need any further information, please ask.
As I'm no computer proffessor, you may need to tell me how to find the informations :)

    Thank you in advance.

    :)

Mass storage controller : Driver now installed.

Sound unit High definition Audio bus:
Found the driver, but when installing an error occurs. No explanation, just a message saying there was an error...
Have tried removing the driver, but it is not possible :-(
