The laptop worked fine, but had a thousand downloads on it and was running slow, but it worked fine. i restored back to factory settings and now it will not boot. i get the option to hit F2 but it doesnt seem to get me very far, just lets me change a few settings. i have hit F8 to try to start in safe mode but it does nothing

I appreciate any advice, thanks for your time

I was told that once you reset your unit to factory settings the BIOS might have reset to default settings too. you need to set the parameters again in the BIOS setup by pressing F2. if you're using VISTA, use the SATA or AHDC mode.

The problem is that i cannot change the mode, just the boot order, how do i know what order to put it in?
