I have just updated my BIOS, which caused my processor to be correctly detected. However, Windows thought I changed hardware and required re-activation, which I went along with without thinking too much. Now Vista says the product key is already in use, probably because I registered online with the older configuration. How can I activate it again?

PS: I got my Vista from MSDNAA, so Tech Support is most probably out of the question.

Yep, you'll have to call the 800 number, it's happened to me a few times. Happily, my Vista key is good for 10 installs, so it'll take a while before the changes force an activation issue. :)
