Active x controls missing in XP pro

    Hi..
    I have installed windows xp pro..
    the problem is that whenever i try to run any vb apps that i or my friends had written they dont run..
    mostly i get error messages that active x controls like comdlg32.ocx etc are missing..

    i have downloaded the latest vb runtime files and there is no difference..

    please let me know how to download and install these activex controls..

    i solved the problem..
    i installed ms visual studio and the ocx files were installed with it..
