active x / flashplayer

third post and no one has helped me yet
please help me fix this problem
i am able to download active x and install the new version of flash player, once the installation is complete nothing happens though, usually the flashplayer webpage freezes, and i still cant view any videos
ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling
please help me fix this problem

thats not a flash player problem.its a video codec problem.what program are you using to watch these files?

sorry im not sure, just even to watch something on youtube, or even websites that use flashplayer. so whichever program that is?

the thing about flashplayer, is,that nothing should really happen, except,a confirmation to say that it was successful in installing it.
it is mainly used so you can view pages such as facebook,bebo etc
