I tried to do a Panda Active Scan earlier today but was informed that my Active X settings were set incorrectly.

Also I used to get the pop-up window to connect to the Internet automatically, whenever I opened a browser window, that setting also changed

As far as I can recall I haven't changed any settings.

I changed them, but am really confused as to why they would change by them self

    hi, welcome to TSG.

panda can be a bit finickity with running it's online scanner.

Try these one's first and see if you can use their online scanners and see if it is Panda or your active X. Currently I can't run them either lol, active X is a pain in the rear!

Run an online antivirus check from at least one and preferably 2 of the following sites....
