Found a interesting problem relating to active-x...

Desktop running Win-XP Media wth SP3 will not function with active-x at all. Found this out while trying to install acrobat reader.

I reduced internet security setting's to a bare minimum enabling all active x features to prompt, still no luck!

Tried IE, and Firefox. Firefox Implies a missing plugin Active-x I presume is missing when trying to install acrobat reader!

Any ideas guys? This seems to be a common problem a lot of people have and theirs no real answers to be found.

First of all you can only use Active-x with IE, Firefox doesn't use Active-x.

Instead of using Adobe try Foxit Reader instead, it's a smaller program and easier on resources. If you primarily use Firefox for your browser look farther down on the link I gave you and download the Firefox plug-in. This allows you to open pdf's in the browser.
