I am having a problem loading ActiveSync 3.7. I receive the error message:
"Setup could not copy the file ‘C:\Documents and Settings\Local\User Name\
    Settings\Temp\IXP000.TMP\core\inf\wceusbsh.cat’(copy-error-1). Restart your
desktop computer and run Setup again." I have tried everything I can think of. I found information on gogle groups that said to delete all files named OEMx.inf that are 0 kb in size. I did that as well as cleaning out all the temp files. I tried in safe mode and logged in as the computer administrator. All still return the same error message. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    1. In the hardware manager, disable all USB controllers.
    2. Reboot your computer
    3. Install Activesync (this will take a while, be patient).
    4. After installing, re-enable the USB controllers again.
    5. Reboot your computer.

Hope this is helpful. This solution can't be found anywhere else on the internet afaik.
