I need some help...I have Win98se. When I run Nortons
system check every once in a while I get an excessive amount
of repair jobs for ActiveX/Com, 15 to 20 each time. I can
repair them but why do I get so many? Thanks, Fausto

    Hi, welcome to the board.

It just happens, and it's among other things dependent on what you install and uninstall, how often you do it, and how thorough the uninstallers are.

I've used Norton WinDoctor for years, and I have yet to encounter a problem because of it removing a lost ActiveX code string it shouldn't have.

So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    Greetz,
