Whenever I boot up and log onto my computer I get a meassage that the page may not display properly because my ActiveX settings aren't right. I have set them up to the instructions I received on here so I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?

all that means is that YOU have correct settings and some site wants to use a dodgy active X control that your settings won't let it do

Unfortunately NO

it's a warning message so it cannot be disabled

the only way of not getting it is to use a different browser like Firefox or opera who don't use active X at all so are somewhat safer

do you have a web page set as your desktop picture ? if so then right click desktop/properties/desktop/customise/web and untick any pages listed there and see if that solves it
