Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.1.4 has Ad-aware 5.83(which had no reference file updates for months) beat by a country mile for finding spyware and virus files. Let's see how well Ad-aware 6.0 holds up to the challenge. I'm willing to give it another try.

Ladyjeweler posts: I have Spybot, SpywareBlaster and Spyware Guard. Ad-aware 6.0 found two pieces of spyware.

Sarkazztic posted: Damn...I thought I had a fairly clean machine...been running the old adaware....and spybot...and spyware blaster....Adaware 6 found 30 pieces of spyware....
the things it found were mostly archived bits from spybot....
