When doing a full system scan, is it suppose to freeze at different periods of time? Cause my does and I was wondering why it does that?

    Any ideas.

Run the scan and right before it finishes (usually when it freezes) stop the scan. Delete any files it found which is usually all of them if you didnt stop the scan, close the program, reboot, and that should fix the problem.

Have found that Ad-Aware will freeze when scanning some files that are quite large. Clearing unnecessary temp. files with a utility such as CCleaner before scanning with Ad-Aware also appears to help time it takes to scan.

"Issues" function in CCleaner is a registry cleaner. If used, a backup should be created after scanning with "Issues" when asked by CCleaner if you want to create a backup.
