Yep it's faster, looks better, has integrated updater and you can configure it more.

Besides that, it's basically the same.

    Definitely worth the download.

I have the Plus version and am quite pleased with it so far but I won't be getting rid of Spybot.

In my very limited experience it is necessary to read the Help files carefully and, probably, to visit Lavasoft's forum to get full details of all the configuration options.

The very fast scan is, I think, limited to the Registry. The advice I saw was that a first scan should include archived files (which will show up the stuff still in Spybot's Recovery file) and your HDD.

Lavasoft have managed three reffiles and at least one new Build since relaunch so they are doing OK for the moment.

We must wait to see...Maybe you must not say

    "I'm still keeping spybot also"
    but
    " I gave AND Adaware a try "

because Spybot is a better tool (it has also some more functions)
though I must say Adaware has a nice interface!

If Adaware has regular updates the next six months
then we can make an evaluation...

I think we must use them both for now, better armed against
    parasites.
    :)
