I am using Ad-aware 6.0 Pro build 158. It will not run the web update. It connects and says I have the latest update in about half a second. (I am on dial-up) I download a manual update, but I do not know how to install it. Thanks in advance.

I got the update to load. I had to go to C:\Program files/Lavasoft/Ad-Aware, then drag and drop the new file and re-boot. It is now loaded. Thanks for the help.

    G'day RandyG,

Thank you for pointing out my "oops". My main concern was that the user was using the most up-to-date reffile. (With 19/09/03....it would certainly have been up-to-date  )

    Maybe I have ESP :D
