    what browser do you use?

for firefox there's the AdBlock Plus Addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

for internet explorer 7 there's IE7Pro http://www.ie7pro.com/ it comes with an adblocker and other features,

opera comes with a built-in ad blocker,

there's admuncher http://www.admuncher.com/ it works in all browsers but isn't free,

also if you're using a newer browser (Firefox 2.0, opera 9.27, Internet Explorer 7,) you might not need the pop-up blocker since the newer browsers today have very good pop-up blockers built-in.

I use the IE 7 it does alright without having tons of pop ups but im a huge I-Net surfer and so i pick up some colds and flus on the way through everyday my antis scan and pick out them hehe, but it no mater what i do its the ones that dont pop up the kinda just use same window and float right in the way of what you are doing. those are the pain in the butt ones. Ill try all of those though and play around with em, Thanks!
