Hi, first off, I am wondering, do I have spyware (before I scan): It says its updating files when my comp starts (you know, at DOS) even though nothing prompted me to restart or anything..I think I have a VXD or something (whenever I have malware like VXD's, it says completing setup, etc at that point). Also, when my comp starts, it says I can update IE with a websearch toolbar....its not a internet window, but a prompt...I think it's spyware.

Now to my main point: I'm gonna run adaware and spybot, CWS, and HJ, but first, I forgot how to make it so it has all the advanced options for AdAware, like deep scan, etc, could someone tell me? I am on a new computer so..yea.

Make sure you are running Ad-Aware SE 1.05 ...

If not, uninstall the one you are running, and get the newest build here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html

Perform a full system scan (one of the options on the second screen) ... that will check your computer thoroughly. It is a new feature beyond the smart scan and custom scan options of the older versions.
