Hi. I've noticed recently that adaware 6 pro rarely updates. In fact a friend of mine said his didn't update after not scanning for about 3 months. I scan every few weeks,( I know I should do it more often) and today, no updates. I heard that there was recently a bunch of new spyware lurking around, so I'm a bit concerned if adaware isn't doing it's job.

I've downloaded microsoft antispyware and it's already picking up a trojan, adaware bundlers and coolwebsearch. So, is there a problem with my adaware?

    Hi Roman5

Ad-Aware 6 is no longer supported and no longer has updates available.

Uninstall Ad-Aware 6 and Upgrade to Ad-Aware SE build 1.05

Aha! Just as well I asked then, I had no idea it was discontinued. Thanks a lot EAFiedler.

Shall I make a note of all my deep scan settings and just do the same for SE? It's the same options I guess?

It has been November since I updated, I think the newer version has a few more tweaks available. But, still similar.

A new update just came out today.
