    Hi All

I gather that LavaSoft are now no longer supporting updates for Adaware V5?

I have this version and I am wondering if there is still anywhere I can get what was the latest spyware update.

I have Adaware 5.83, buils 2.930 with signature file:

    029-15.06.2002

Does anyone know where I could still get any later sig files from or does anyone have a copy??

    Thanks...
    John

The sig. file from 9/20-something should be available at Lavasoft. That's the latest I've seen. I heard on The Screensavers that Lavasoft is working on v6 of Ad-Aware, that one reason why no new updates the last few months.

EDIT: Just went to http://www.lavasoftusa.com and it looks like v6 is out. They removed everything for 5.x

    EDIT #2 :)
I found sig file 042-24-09-02 here:
    http://www.networkingfiles.com/Cookie/adaware.htm

Spybot Search and Destroy or Hijack This are other programs to try.
