I want to download itunes to a PC with windows 7, so I can use an old iphone as a webcam. But apparently, now I have to go through Microsoft for itunes. I have a Microsoft account, but I can't get them to let me add my PC to the account. And I can't get any help from Microsoft.
I'm using a 32 bit Win 7 computer. I got to the Apple site, clicked the link for a 32 bit download and it was ready to download with no problem. (Note: I chose not to download it.)
I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro - 64-bit and the 64-bit download was ready to save (from apple.com) and install. I already have iTunes so I didn't go through with the installation either.
Karen clicked on the blue download now button and I clicked on Download hereafter the Looking for Windows 32 bit?.
It might be a Windows 10 quirk that we aren't getting.
The OP on Windows 7 should be able to see and click on either link that we can.
Neither of us are using Edge nor IE. (Since MS won't allow me to purchase 3 more years of support on Windows 7 because I am not a business owner, I see no need to download and install Edge for Windows 7). Karen is using Firefox and I'm using Palemoon.
Do you have a non-MS browser installed? If so, try that.
I just fired up Vivaldi and get the 2 download links showing in that too.
I tried IE on my Windows 7 desktop computer and I get the same 2 download links that I see in the other browsers.
I'm not sure why the OP gets re-directed to MS on a Windows 7 computer.
