I am running windows xp, and I have a BJC-5100 printer (there are no drivers for win xp, so I am forced to use a program called "BJC-The Printer Angel", and everything works fine). The only thing which bothers me, is that every time I restart my computer, windows always brings up a dialog box saying it found new hardware (found a BJC-5100). The printer is already installed, so it is quite needless to have this at every startup.

How do I disable this message?

I don't think thats its an installation problem. I thinks it is just windows trying to do its usual "look what I found for you" thingy, but the device is already installed. I have tried going with it do let it install, but then it asks for some disk which I don't have:confused:

Is there a way to disable auto detection of hardware? If there is, will there be side effects (eg. usb key not detected)?
