I have never needed to post in a tech support forum before, but I have a problem that is beyond my skill to fix. My computer has recently started rebooting on its own. It did this once before, presumably from overheating, so I cleaned the dust out of the heat sync and and it stopped. In addition to rebooting, I am no longer able to access google or yahoo. I get this: http://ehttp.cc/?google.com whenever I type in google. I use system mechanic to disable certain start-up programs, and found "addclass" as a start-up program. Disabling it did not fix the google problem. Here is my hijackthis log:

I appreciate any help you can give me. I tried "fixing" all entries marked (obfuscated), but a quick reboot later they came right back. I'm not sure where the source of the problem is. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi,

You need CWS Shredder to get rid of that.

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe

Follow these instructions and report back here with a HJT log when you are done.

That's much better.

It looks clean to me.

Make sure one more person looks at this new log.

Nok1 - This look good?
