adding a DVD RW and a HD

    The answer is that they are generally the same and an IDE ribbon cable should connected the two together.

    It may be better to string the DVD and CD drives together as they run on a lower transfer rate of only 33Mb/s.

    Current ATA hard disks run at 133Mb/s. I notice you are after an older hard drive running at only 100Mb/s (Interface: IDE ULTRA ATA100).
