Adding aditional computer on a hub

    hey hows it goin guys.i gota pppoe connection type dsl. i just hooked up a hub and the main computer that the net was hooked up to all along will work fine with the hub, but the computer in the next room that i tried connecting will not connect for some reason. any help on what i could be doing wrong??

    What are you trying to do? What are the parts (brand and model of modem, router, hub, etc.) of your network? How are they and your computer(s) inter-connected?

    Unless your Internet Service Provider allows you to use multiple IP addresses (doubtful), you need to use a router instead of a hub.
