adding assembly code into c code

    hi...

    i heard that its possible to add part of assembly code into a c program.

    anyone knows how to go abt doing it?

    I think it may depend on what compiler or link library you are using, but when I need to put assembly for a micro into C code, it goes:
    #pragmaASM
    assembly code
    ...
    ...
    #pragma ENDASM
    The micro is the M16C/60 series.
    For the 68HC11:
    asm
    {
    assembly code
    ...
    ...
    }
    It might say your embedded manual or in your compiler help file....not sure.
