adding fields from different records

I am building a data base and in it I have built a record where yI enter job numbers and P.O.'s. I would like to build another record where it will calculate all the amounts I have entered for any given PO. There may be 10 or twenty enteries for the same PO.

What are the field names in your table?

Make a query to contain the necessary fields.
In design view, hit View-Totals.
In the PO column, choose the group by dropdown and choose First.
In the PO Amount column, choose the Group by dropdown and choose Sum.

What happens? Why can't you see your form? It won't open? Likely, you need to create a new form based on the query...

Please give as much information as you can. There's any number of reasons someone "can't see my form".

:)
