adding Server 2003 to W2kPro

    Any gotchas to consider when adding Server 2003 to my Win2K workstation for a dual boot rig? Don't have a spare partition so would like to just install beside Win2k on C:/ . Am I asking for trouble? Should I just get another box...?

    This is my primary admin/development workstation, so don't want to HOSE myself...

    You are looking for punishment. Installing 2 OS's to the same partition is a definite accident that won't wait to happen. For one thing, even if you got them installed in different folders, they would share the Program Files folder by default, even during setup, and all your programs would be scrambled with registry entries leading who-knows-where.

    Take the time to resize the partition and give 2k3 it's own.
